The Animation Guys Are Open (Still!) – An Update

Amidst global uncertainty regarding COVID-19 we wanted to check in from The Animation Guys (TAG) HQ. So, what has life been like for us? Whilst we could be sat at home watching Simpsons reruns, absorbing the tabloid panic or serenading ourselves with Italian balconies – we are resisting that urge, and ploughing on. We’re continuing to work and are in the process of producing some exciting animated video content for our wonderful clients.

So Where Are We?

As of Wednesday 18th March all of our animation team are now home working from the cosiness of their humble abodes.

Whilst we miss each other’s company, the power of technology enables us to stay as connected as ever with regular video catch ups, conference calls and slack chats! We’re currently working on some fantastic projects that we are excited to share with you soon!

The Launch Of Our 3D Studio

In exciting news for us we’re delighted to have launched our brand new 3D studio! We’ve had this in the works for some time and are looking to the future as we grow and expand our offering to clients. We are thrilled to have brought on some highly experienced and extremely talented animators and will be using their skill over the coming months to deliver some new, innovative and striking 3D projects for our clients.

An example of our recent 3D work is this conceptual 3D visualisation we produced for Scottish based Fintech company Autorek.

They were looking to improve their brand identity and online presence and this 3D animation was the perfect way to engage and strengthen their relationship with their current audience and potential future customers.

What Else Is Happening?

As well as our new 3D Animation Studio we’ve been working on some really cool projects for some of our other great clients.

BDC Sustainability Animation

Sustainability is a core issue for the team at The Animation Guys and as a result we were thrilled to work in partnership with The Business Design Centre on this project. Focused around their 10 year celebration of being carbon neutral the animation explores innovative ways the venue works towards prioritising the environment and doing good for the planet.

NHS Educational Animation

As an inspiring state institution, especially as times such as these, it was a privilege to work with the NHS. The project centered around a new role they have developed called ‘a lived experience connector’ that aims to help staff better understand and care for their patients.

The Long Term Impact Of Animation
