The Brief

We worked with MPMaterials, who owns and operates Mountain Pass, the only integrated rare earth mining and processing site in North America. We created a 3D animation engineering video to succinctly cover the full mining process at their site. The video will help MPMaterials drive the onshoring of jobs, national security and a carbon-reduced future.

Our Response

Working closely with MP Materials over a long period of time, liasing with Engineers and technical teams, we developed a compelling animation that is accessible and understandable. The 3D animation engineering video explains the process of extracting Rare earth permanent magnets, a process which has never been summarised in video format before. That makes this a first for the industry, and setting the standard for similar pieces of content to come! The level of 3D animation in the video allows for an advanced level of modeling and rendering to represent the key features of the site. Whilst also focusing the eye with clear branding and visual design! This allowed the animation to grow and evolve as we streamlined the mining process explaination.
